Oil blocks: N-Delta groups threaten Chinese, Koreans

Groups in the Niger Delta have warned the Chinese and Korean National Petroleum Companies not to set foot in the area after they succeeded in dispossessing sons and daughters of the area of oil and gas blocks in the just concluded 2005 oil blocks licensing round.

… “It is bad enough that leaders of this country have always subjugated our people. Going to bring the Chinese and Koreans to rub it in is not acceptable to us at all. I feel sorry for these Chinese and Koreans because they do not know what they are getting themselves into.”
