The devastating fire at an oil facility at ONGC’s Mumbai High fields has led to a four per cent drop in India’s crude oil production in July, even as refinery output was robust at 3.6 per cent.
Crude oil production at 2.75 million tonnes in July was four per cent lower than 2.864 million tonnes produced in the same month last year, according to the latest data released by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas here.
