A brief resumption of pumping through Iraq’s northern oil pipeline over the weekend has brought stores at the Ceyhan export terminal to 2.4 million barrels, a port agent said Wednesday.
The agent said the Iraqi authorities Saturday and Sunday had pumped around 800,000 bbl of crude through the pipeline that links the Kirkuk oil fields with the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
“But there is no news of anyone lifting the crude from the port,” the agent said.
