Malaysia will soon see the blending of palm oil and diesel to power car engines (biodiesel) and electricity generators (biofuel) under its biofuel policy which will be unveiled tonight.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said under the policy, the composition of palm oil in the blend will be up to 5 per cent, a move that could help cut the cost of importing diesel and also help support palm oil prices.
