Nikola Tesla is responsible for the making Suburbia a reality. He was naive with regards to his interpretation of human nature. He believed that war would become a thing of past and that people act out in their own rational self interests. In the end the technologies he created didn’t fill the void in his personal life. Instead he found some level of fulfillment by caring for sick and hungry pigeons on the streets of New York City. He lifted the quantity of energy available for human consumption with his accomplishments. Instead of being grateful, humanity went on an energy consumption binge using oil and other fossil fuels.
