Cairn moving slickly to Rajasthan production

CAIRN Energy, the Edinburgh-based oil and gas explorer, said it was “moving rapidly” towards production at its three northern fields – Mangala, Bhagyam and Aishwariya – in Rajasthan. The company said it expects to produce between 120,000 and 150,000 barrels of oil a day from the three key fields, with production from Mangala expected to begin towards the end of 2007.
