Russian crude oil production was up just 3 pct in the first half of this year from a year earlier, confirming the slowdown seen since autumn 2004, according to figures from the energy ministry published today.
Russia, the world’s second biggest oil exporter, extracted 230.2 mln tonnes of crude oil during the first half of the year, or 9.26 mln barrels per day, according to according to figures cited by Interfax news agency.
