At least two people were killed and as many as were 250 people injured, 4 critically, sources told WFSB. There are reports of people trapped under metal, concrete and steel.
The explosion occurred just before 11:30 a.m. at the Kleen Energy plant on River Road in Middletown, and shook houses 10 miles away.
