Airline goes out of business

Vintage Props and Jets, a New Smyrna Beach-based commuter airline with an operation at Melbourne International Airport, has ceased operations and filed for bankruptcy protection.

For Melbourne International, Vintage’s exit means the loss of about $12,000 in annual landing fees, lease payments and other revenues, airport officials said Monday.
