Iran, Russia’s Gazprom sign energy cooperation deal

Iran and Gazprom Sunday signed an agreement that would see the Russian energy giant help the Islamic republic develop its oil and gas fields, the oil ministry’s Shana news agency reported.

“Iran’s national oil company and Gazprom signed an agreement in which the two sides will cooperate in the development of Iran’s oil and gas fields,” the agency said.
