Royal Dutch Shell Plc, Europe’s biggest oil producer, resumed contracted deliveries of crude oil from Nigeria’s offshore Bonga field, which was shut after a militant attack last month.
Shell lifted a “force majeure” declaration on Bonga exports today, spokesman Rainer Winzenried said by telephone. Force majeure is a legal clause that allows producers to miss contracted deliveries because of circumstances beyond their control.
