China raises gasoline prices 7 percent in response to high oil cost

China raised its retail benchmark rate for gasoline by seven percent in response to soaring crude oil prices, the government said.

At the same time, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) kept diesel fuel prices unchanged, according to a directive on its website
