More remarkable, however, are the similarities in primary energy sources. While the E.U. claims great strides on the renewable front, statistics show that in 2004 the U.S. got a larger percentage of its primary energy from renewable sources. The numbers also show some fairly predictable results: the E.U. gets more primary energy from nuclear, in large part thanks to France
