Nigeria: Yar’Adua May Revoke Oil Block Licences

The Federal Government may revoke some licences for oil blocks granted some entities during recent licensing rounds.

Although the identities of the blocks, as well as the awardees are not immediately known, THISDAY learnt that some indigenous and foreign entities which obtained their acreage licenses through the ‘back door’ may end up losing them.
