OPEC is to take a decision on its production next September

Energy and Mines Minister pointed out yesterday that OPEC is likely to take a decision on its production. Mr. Chakib Khelil said, on the fringe of signing a convention to realise seawater desalination station in Tipaza, that oil prices record increase levels are not owed to supply and demand in the international markets as there is a balance between them currently. The Minister said that the increase is linked to the deficit recorded in refining capacities.
