Saudi Arabia upholds oil supply cuts for August

Saudi Arabia told major oil companies and Asian refiners on Wednesday that it would not relent on its oil export curbs next month, despite crude prices nearing record highs.

Saudi Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi said none of its customers is asking for more crude oil.
