Statoil makes new gas discovery in Norwegian Sea

Norwegian oil and gas producer Statoil ASA (NYSE:STO) has made a new gas discovery in the Norwegian Sea, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said in a statement.

Oil officials said preliminary estimates of the find showed between one and three bln standard cubic metres (Sm3) of recoverable gas.
