EPA Spending $118 Million to Eliminate Greenhouse Gas Emissions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently released their $7.2 billion fiscal year 2008 budget, $118 million of which is earmarked for climate change programs to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions. The programs build upon partnership efforts and contribute to the president’s plan to reduce greenhouse gas intensity by 18 percent in 2012.
