HARRISON — About 50 people with baseball bats and pipes left several cars damaged and a man with a head injury Thursday at a Harrison gasoline station.
Police arrived about 11 p.m. at the Shell station to find a man with his head cut open. Another man was spraying brake cleaner at several people, and a third man was punching a vehicle.
The injured man refused medical help initially but later received treatment at MidMichigan Medical Center in Clare.
Police arrested a 21-year-old man, a 46-year-old man and two 20-year-old men, all of Harrison. Charges of assault and property destruction are pending, police said.
A clerk at the station characterized the fight as a “family thing that’s been going on for years.”
