US House OKs Anti-OPEC Bill

The US House of Representatives has voted to allow the government to sue OPEC over oil production quotas.

Russia denounced the measure, saying it broke international law.

“This decision is a violation of the norms of international law,” Russia’s foreign ministry said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the White House objected to the House move, saying that might disrupt supplies and lead to even higher costs at the pump.
