Chairman Alliance of Market Associations (AMA) Atiq Mir said that this decision would add to the miseries of small traders that had already suffered losses of around Rs4 billion last month due to frequent power outage in the markets.

During the hot days and scorching heat, majority of the buyers visit the markets and shopping centres in the evening, he added.
