The non-profit Solar Living Institute and it’s parent, Real Goods Trading Company, are offering The End Of Suburbia on DVD. Founded in 1978, Real Goods (now called Gaiam Real Goods after a recent merger) is today the world’s premier supplier of renewable energy, environmental and sustainable living products and information. The Solar Living Institute is their educational arm.
Although I’ve not yet seen it, a friend of mine tells me that their latest catalog features a full two-page center spread on Peak Oil. While doubtless some will see this as simply a shrewd marketing ploy (given the Real Goods product offerings), it still represents some major exposure for this important issue.
