U.N. To Impose Sanctions on Iran on Friday

The United Nations Security Council is expected to agree Friday to pass a resolution imposing sanctions on Iran, according to the British Guardian newspaper. Iran has threatened that it might retaliate against the sanctions by closing down the water channel that is the passage for 20 percent of the world’s oil supplies.
