As I skeptically analyze Peak Oil arguments for my writing students, I tell them that coming to firm conclusions is no easy task, especially when the experts on either side are more involved in the issue than you are. It still seems the burden of proof is on the Peakers. As the saying goes, “Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence.” Are these people simply not paying attention?
