Kathmandu – After two days of violent protests over the steep hike in fuel prices, Nepal
From Monday night, gas dealers stopped buying supplies from the NOC in a bid to pressure the government from slashing their profit margin.
The strike was triggered after the government indicated it would reduce the three percent profit margin added by dealers to fuel prices in a bid to cut down state subsidies and yet keep the rates down.
