(Dow Jones)- Seaborne oil exports from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries are expected to climb more than 2% in the four weeks to Aug. 26 versus the previous four weeks, almost touching a record for this year as demand picks up in Asia, U.K.-based tanker tracker Oil Movements said Thursday.
OPEC’s shipments will rise in the period by 560,000 barrels a day to 25.24 million b/d from 24.68 million b/d four weeks earlier.
