Fiji: Minister points out need for energy source

The need to revert to alternative energy sources in light of the continued rise in fuel prices was reiterated at a trade conference yesterday.

Minister for Commerce and Industry Adi Sivia Qoro said the need to reduce dependency on fuel was great because the soaring fuel prices had a negative impact on the country’s fragile economy.
