Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit wants nationals to conserve energy and regulate their consumption levels, following a new price increase on fuel, gas and kerosene in Dominica.
The Dominican leader explained that absorbing price increases is putting a strain on government resources.
“It’s never advisable to absorb the increases because it places a strain on the revenue of the country, and because once you place a strain on the revenue; you place a strain on the goods and services,” Prime Minister Skerrit said.
