Nigerian kidnappers have released at least some of the eight foreign oil workers they took hostage two days ago in the Niger River delta, a police spokesman said.
Police spokesman Haz Iwendi said he didn’t know how many of the eight hostages, six Britons, a Canadian and a U.S. citizen, had been freed. The released hostages were travelling to the Nigerian capital, Abuja.
