To save on the country’s oil payments, Thailand’s Energy Ministry plans to launch an aggressive campaign to urge the industrial sector to consume less imported oil and turn to alternative ‘green’ energy, caretaker Minister of Energy Viset Choopiban said here on Friday.
The minister has assigned the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency to organize an exhibition titled ”Sunrise for Thai Industrial Energy”, at Siam Paragon, an upper-classed shopping complexe in Bangkok, next Wednesday (May 24) to instill awareness rgarding alternative energy within Thai businesses and the general public.
