OTC: Weather Experts See ‘New Era’ of Hurricane Activity in GOM

Oil & Gas Journal – The US portion of the Gulf of Mexico is in a “new era” of increased hurricane activity that likely will continue “for at least another 15-20 years,” said the lead hurricane forecaster for ImpactWeather Inc. at the annual Offshore Technology Conference in Houston.
