The Nova Scotia government hopes to bring in new rules this fall allowing wind-energy developers to sell power directly to customers, says Allan Crandlemire, the Energy Department’s director of management.
Mr. Crandlemire said the department has heard from developers wanting the government to allow wind power to be sold directly to customers, instead of only to the province’s largest electrical utility, Nova Scotia Power.
