OPEC Exports +30,000 B/D In 4 Weeks To Apr 29 -Consultant

Seaborne crude oil shipments by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries are expected to rise by a marginal 30,000 barrels a day in the four weeks to April 29 compared with the average of the previous four weeks, a leading tanker tracker said Thursday.

U.K.-based Oil Movements forecasts OPEC’s shipments will increase to 24.71 million b/d compared with 24.68 million b/d in the four weeks to April 1.

“The story here is that exports rose a little until the end of the month when they started to fall,” said Oil Movements head Roy Mason. Part of the decline is due to a fall in eastbound sailings, he said.
