Transport and energy bills threaten Scottish economy

Higher bills for transport and energy threatens Scotland’s economic growth, according to the latest economic survey. The Scottish Chambers of Commerce reports that tourism is up and manufacturing and construction reflects a slight improvement.

But looking ahead, most sectors are more cautious and everyone in the High Street, except the big retailers, is less optimistic about the next 12 months.
