BRIDGETON, NJ — It smells like french fries and can power a tractor.
Now, it can heat your home.
In 2004, Woodruff Energy became the first company in New Jersey to offer Biodiesel, a soybean-based fuel for machines that run on diesel engines.
Now the Bridgeton-based company is offering a similar veggie-based fuel for home heating systems.
The product is called Bioheat, a blend of 98 percent standard heating oil and two percent soybean oil that can be used in any standard home oil heating system.
