When Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM.N: Quote, Profile, Research) and Chevron Corp.’s (CVX.N: Quote, Profile, Research) top executives face Wall Street this week, they can bask in the glow of coming off a gloriously profitable year.

But with some forecasts predicting that oil prices and refining margins are set to fall this year, nervous investors will be looking for clues on whether the best is over for the top two U.S. oil majors.
