OPEC Knows Supply Must Increase, Official Says

U.S. Energy Secretary Sam Bodman said on Friday he believes OPEC has a sense that with current high oil prices, markets need more, not less, crude oil from the cartel.

In a briefing with reporters, Bodman said he did not know what OPEC ministers will decide about production levels when they meet next week.
