Nuclear energy a must for Turkey- Energy Minister G

Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler said on Wednesday that nuclear energy is a must for Turkey.

Guler said that the Turkish economy, which is the 17th largest in the world should use nuclear energy to take its place among the top 10 economies of the world.

Turkey is planning to construct three nuclear power plants with a total capacity of 5,000 megawatts of energy by 2014.
