The hypocrisy of the nuclear powers

There is a great deal of hypocrisy in the resolution by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to send the matter of Iranian nuclearization to the United Nations Security Council in order to force Iran to cancel its nuclear program and create a Middle East free of weapons of mass destruction.

The resolution includes, for the first time in history, an indirect but clear demand that Israel also rid itself of the nuclear arms that, according to foreign sources, it possesses. It is also the first time the United States has openly joined such a resolution. Israel suddenly finds itself lumped together with Iran after all its diplomatic efforts to prevent Iran’s nuclearization.
