Mystery buyer marks record Alberta oil land sale

Energy companies paid C$651 million ($566 million) for undeveloped acreage in Alberta, most of it oil sands leases, a record driven by booming interest in the unconventional resource, the Canadian province’s energy department said on Thursday.
