Ogale: Still Haunted By Oil Fire

In Ogale, an Ogoni community in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State, the local people generally see the oil industry as hell, at least, in the Niger Delta area. For them, the industry breeds environmental terrorism as well as unending crimes against humanity.

Today, the community people are suspicious of any scientific invention that flies across their community. Since these incidents, the preception of the local people is that, ‘bombs’ and missiles rain down from the oil industry’s heavens above and cold-blooded monsters on a murdering spree roam hellish oil communities below.
