Turkey Looks for Alternative Natural Resources

The problems Russia experienced in the sales of natural gas with Armenia, Hungary and Bosnia Herzegovina in addition to Ukraine prompted Turkey to seek alternative natural resources.

The Energy Ministry hastened studies on new alternatives in order not to experience similar problems and to be independent on resource diversity.

To purchase cheaper gas and prevent cutoffs, the Secretary initiated talks with Turkmenistan to purchase gas.
