LONDON, Jan. 21 (UPI) — The price of a gallon of gasoline is expected to rise up to one pound ($1.75) in the coming months, says the AA Motoring Trust.
The AA report said family budgets will remain “under heavy strain” as the average gasoline bill for a typical two-car family has risen by $600 over the past year, the Daily Telegraph reported Saturday.
“The rising cost of crude oil and the prospect of political pressure on Iran, the world’s fourth biggest oil producer, does not augur well for the cost of car fuel this year,” said Ruth Bridger, an analyst for the AA Trust.
