China calls for cooperation with US on oil, nuclear power

China and the US should deepen their cooperation in energy issues, including overseas oil exploration, transport of crude oil through international oil pipelines and civilian nuclear projects, China’s economic planning body said.

The two countries should also decrease friction through dialogue at multiple levels, China’s National Development and Reform Commission said in a statement on its website.
